I absolutely love taking pictures of families and children; and being a father of two I know how quickly they grow up and change and how important it is to document and capture these moments. I use the skills of negotiation I have learned as a dad (!) to connect with the children resulting in gorgeous natural images of them. I have a range of different shoots available including

3 – I also appreciate that babies, children and parents are often more comfortable in their own environment so I can bring everything to you with a Portable Home Studio, this is particularly good for Bump to Baby Maternity Photography and Newborn Photography.

Every family photo shoot I do is different and I like to allow you to have the most input on which direction we go; however they normally follow a similar structure. I like to spend time beforehand to get to know you, build up trust and, most importantly, give you time to tell me what you want. For me the key to being a great Children’s Photographer is trust, so making friends with your little ones at the very start of the shoot is one of my priorities (easy as a big kid at heart!). You might be the best technical photographer in the world but if you don’t know how to interact with children then you’ll never get great Children’s Portraits.
