Some Of The Photography Highlights From The Wedding Of James & Jules At The Beautiful venue The Hundred House – Such A fun and Awesome Day.
Wow been really looking forward to sharing this wedding since I shot it, not only such a gorgeous couple but James & Jules are 2 of the nicest people you could wish to meet, so relaxed, thoughtful, genuine and really just let me do my thing to capture all the moments of the day. I genuinely feel like I’ve made some friends for life, I stayed pretty late at their wedding but if it wasn’t for another wedding the next day I would have stayed all night and partied with them. Their friends and family were really welcoming and it just felt like hanging out with old friends all day. The Hundred House in Shropshire is such a great wedding venue, although these two love birds got married at the local church St. Mary’s in Sutton Maddock (which is the most beautifully lit church I’ve ever been too!!) you can have your full wedding at the barn here too. The team there had done an amazing job of dressing the venue with all the styling and wedding stationary done by the extremely talented bride Jules, who as her day job is a graphic designer – check her out here Call Me Jules. She did all the design work from the invitations, the table plan and right through to making the personalized bride & bridesmaid wedding hangers! A bit like me, she really does love what she does for a living and her passion shows in her work, she even based her wedding table names on her favorite fonts (and no I didn’t initially think they were places in Italy!!)
I really do feel blessed by this wedding, everything was right, stunning couple, beautiful church, amazing surrounding area for photos, awesome venue and probably most importantly complete creative freedom and time to get some great shots. I really do think it shows in the results and hope you all like them as much as me. However I was completely terrified walking backwards taking pictures at the end of the night with loads of drunk people laughing and wielding sparklers,!!
