The Wedding of Adam & Suzie – Alrewas Hayes exclusive use wedding photography

Wow, what a day this was! A beautiful couple, glorious sunshine, stunning venue and full military dress for the groom – plus 2 super cute dog ringbearers….what more could I have asked for?! Seriously though, Adam & Suzie’s wedding day was amazing, I always love to shoot at Alrewas Hayes and their day was just perfection. Getting ready at the venue, Suzie and her bridesmaids had the use of the dedicated bridal suite, with plenty of space for all their hair and make-up to be done, and plenty of opportunities for photos, especially with Adam’s mum giving Suzie a look through a “This is your life” style book all about her husband-to-be!! Meanwhile, my second shooter was busy taking photos of Adam and his groomsmen, all military and in full uniform ready for the ceremony.

The ceremony room at Alrewas Hayes was packed ready for Suzie to walk down the aisle with her very proud father, and the look on Adam’s face when he saw Suzie looking absolutely stunning walking towards him is priceless. The ceremony itself was romantic, filled with so much warmth and love for the couple (and the added cute factor of the two dogs walking down the aisle with leads matching the couple’s wedding theme!) and Adam & Suzie walked out into beautiful sunshine as Mr & Mrs Woodhouse, to be showered with confetti by their nearest and dearest.

With some group shots done, the men went off to change out of their military uniforms and while they did so Suzie took the opportunity to throw her bouquet. With plenty of good-natured jostling and a few sharp elbows as the bouquet was caught! All in good humour though, and then it was time for a few couple shots before the wedding breakfast. I love capturing Alrewas Hayes exclusive use wedding photography as there are so many options for different photos with the beautiful surrounding scenery!

Announced to rapturous applause the newlyweds entered the marquee for the wedding breakfast, followed by the speeches. With the day turning into a beautiful evening the happy couple and their wedding party then headed out for some group shots, before we took some more couple shots in the cornfield (and Adam & Suzie had a quick last minute practice of their choreographed first dance!)

Back to the marquee and it was time to cut the cake (an awesome superhero creation!) and then Adam & Suzie wowed their guests with a flawless first dance. They were then joined on the dancefloor by their guests and partied the night away (…..with the awesomeness of fireworks as an added celebration…..and then I will let you scroll down to the bottom of the photos to find out how the night ended….safe to say it was a first for me in capturing it!!!)

Thanks guys, for asking me to capture your wedding day, it was absolutely awesome and you two are perfect for one another. Your family and friends were so warm and welcoming – enjoy the photos, and I wish you many years of happiness together!
