Don’t know if it’s a well-known or little-known fact about me but I LOVE a good ceilidh! Both capturing and taking part to be honest! So the prospect of returning to one of my favourite venues, to capture Lucy & Tom’s wedding, with kilts and ceilidh planned was something I was very much looking forward to, and that was before I saw that their table names were from Games of Thrones! Awesome!
Lucy and Tom were both getting ready at the venue, and the threshing barn looked beautiful as it filled up with guests, all eagerly awaiting the arrival of Lucy. Tom was dressed in full scottish attire and the look on his face when he saw Lucy walking towards him with her father was priceless. The newlyweds looked absolutely thrilled as they walked down the aisle as Mr & Mrs Brown, and their guests were full of congratulations during the drinks reception. The sun was shining down and so the private courtyard was used to its maximum, for group shots, kids entertainment and general relaxation for everyone! We were able to capture a few couple shots around the grounds before Lucy & Tom went in for their receiving line.
The traditional speeches followed a delicious meal and then it was time for chilling out before the fun of the ceilidh! Honestly, it was just so much fun – so much energy, so many smiles and lots and lots of laughter – check out the photographs!
Lucy & Tom, thank you so much for asking me to be your wedding photographer, I had an absolute blast and I hope you love the photos as much as I do! I wish you a lifetime of happiness, you are perfect for one another!
