What an absolute pleasure it was to capture Gill & Paul’s wedding at Tutbury Castle. The couple, and all their family and friends, were just the warmest, nicest people and with it being quite a small and intimate wedding, I really felt honoured to be there to witness it. Gill & Paul absolutely lucked out weather-wise, it really was so warm and Tutbury Castle looked spectacular in the summer sunshine!
Their guests arrived and were able to use the outside courtyard to mingle until it was time for them to move up to the ceremony room for the service. Gill looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress, and they both looked so happy throughout the whole ceremony, surrounded by their close family and friends. With the weather being so beautiful we were able to capture all the group shots and couple portraits using the outside space that Tutbury Castle offers. Check out the couple portraits for a truly spectacular backdrop of the castle ruins, I absolutely love those photographs.
The ceremony room was transformed ready for the speeches and meal which again, felt very special with such a close and intimate audience. The weather was still beautiful after this and so we were able to explore more of the castle to create some absolutely gorgeous couple shots for Gill & Paul.
I really loved capturing this wedding, and the guests and Gill & Paul themselves made me feel so welcome, thank you so much! I wish you a long and happy life together, you definitely deserve it!
