Zoe & Tom’s Norwood Park Wedding Photography

Zoe & Tom’s wedding and the beginning of Autumn gave me the opportunity to capture Norwood Park wedding photography for the first time, and wow is it an amazing venue! Seriously in love with it and very keen to revisit in the future – as soon as I pulled up the sweeping drive I could see exactly why Zoe & Tom had chosen to have their wedding there, it is stunning – inside AND out! With Zoe having her hair and make-up done at home before arriving, it gave me the opportunity to have a look round for photo opportunities, as well as admire the amazing details that the bride and groom had decided on to make the venue look extra elegant! When Zoe arrived, she really did look glowing, and her veil was A-MA-ZING! Straight away I was excited about what shots we could capture later on in the day!

Norwood Park has an enormous room dedicated for the bridal party, which meant Zoe and her bridesmaids could all get last minute make up done and changed into their outfits comfortably and without feeling on top of one another. Add into mix Zoe’s parents and brothers as well as 3 pageboys and a flower girl and the room STILL didn’t feel crowded, which might give you an idea of the grandeur of the place! I love the shots from these last few moments before heading down for the ceremony, everyone is busy sorting last minute things and there is so much to look at on each photograph!

With Tom ready and having greeted all the guests, the ceremony started, set in the beautiful Drawing Room. There are some photos during the ceremony where the look on Tom’s face just says it all – he clearly absolutely adores Zoe and it is obvious that the feeling is very much mutual. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a couple smile, laugh and exchange glances as much as these 2 and it didn’t stop all day.  

With the weather being relatively warm for the start of Autumn, the guests were able to congratulate the newlyweds outside the House on the lawn, making it feel much more like a Summer wedding. With the drinks reception underway, we used the time to capture group portraits, and then The Newlyweds took some time alone, exploring the gardens which looked absolutely stunning with the autumnal colours well and truly on show (seriously, check out the pictures of them by the tree with the bright red leaves, absolutely amazing…I love Autumn!!) Then it was time to head back inside for the receiving line, greeting all their guests into the Gallery for their wedding breakfast. The food was incredible and it was followed by awesome speeches, proper belly laughs and genuine tears all round I think! 

The couple were keen to explore the grounds further and I wasn’t going to stop them – honestly there were SO many different photo opportunities around this venue, I am seriously in love with Norwood Park wedding photography!! However, Zoe had a surprise she had worked sooo hard to keep from Tom and me and the amazing Geoff (from Our Wedding Videographers) had to try and distract Tom and avoid him seeing the van setting up fireworks the other side of the lake. With the venue transformed and ready for the evening party, Zoe & Tom returned to the House to cut their wedding cake and have their first dance. It was really sweet also that Zoe had a special dance with her father too. With the party in full swing, it was time for Zoe’s big surprise – Tom had wanted fireworks from the start but Zoe in complete secrecy, had organised fireworks to celebrate their wedding in style, I think it’s safe to say that Tom was taken completely by surprise, and the display went down really well with all the guests.

Zoe & Tom, your wedding photos have made me smile every time I have looked at them and that’s because of you two! You are so clearly so in love with each other, and the smiles on your faces all through your wedding day are infectious! Your family and friends were amazing too, and I wish you a lifetime of happiness together, you are perfect for each other.
