Bev & Mark’s Kettering Park Hotel wedding

Where do I start with Bev & Mark’s Kettering Park Hotel wedding?? The whole day was so full of smiles and laughter I have been really looking forward to blogging this one, the photos have always made me smile every time I have looked through them! Bev (and one of her bridesmaids!) is an old school friend of mine and Bev & Mark’s Kettering Park Hotel wedding meant that I was returning to Northamptonshire, where I spent my teenage years – and the venue where my sister got ready for her wedding over 3 years ago – so many, many memories came flooding back the whole day. A Kettering Park Hotel wedding is always special, the staff and the imposing fireplace and staircase are just some of the reasons!!

It was bridal prep for me first and the room where Bev and her bride squad was buzzing with excitement. There were so many comings and goings, and so many people getting ready it was an absolute whirlwind but really a lot of fun. The children were on top form, never shy to pose for the camera which I always love! Bev & Mark’s colour scheme of midnight blue meant that the flowers and Bev’s dress stood out beautifully and quickly it was time for me to leave them to their final preparations and go downstairs to the Kettering Park Hotel wedding room, which was decorated to complement the colour scheme. Mark and his groomsmen were ready and waiting, and when the bridesmaids walked down the aisle the atmosphere was one of anticipation and excitement. Bev looked absolutely stunning and Mark’s face was full of pride when he saw her. The ceremony was sweet and emotional and it was a pleasure to witness Bev & Mark becoming husband and wife.

I think now it’s time I make a request to all future couples – PLEASE CAN WE HAVE MORE CONFETTI CANNONS??! As the newlyweds were introduced and they walked down the aisle, their guests showered them with confetti by giant cannons – absolutely amazing (slightly jealous I didn’t get the chance to have a play with one!!!) After getting completely covered with confetti it was time for a drinks reception and time to greet their guests as Mr & Mrs! With their guests enjoying all that the Kettering Park Hotel wedding team were offering, Bev & Mark took the opportunity for a photo shoot outside in the grounds. Following this, they were then ready to be introduced to their guests, all seated ready for the wedding breakfast. While they were all enjoying their food, I took the opportunity to set up some awesome shots using the fireplace and the staircase so once the newlyweds had finished their food they snuck out and we had some fun with lighting and moody poses. I had also noticed that the sky outside at this point was looking absolutely amazing so after some incredible speeches we went outside for some more beautiful couple shots – Bev & Mark are so in love with each other and it really shines through in all their photos, just too cute!

By the time they got back inside the dancefloor was already jumping – mostly with children but credit where credits due, there were some adults who were definitely showing you’re never too grown up to join in with the Macarena and the likes! After a few good tunes, Bev & Mark cut their cake in the middle of the dancefloor and then had their romantic first dance (with the added bonus of more confetti canons – woohoo!) They were soon joined by friends and family and the party carried on into the night!

I had high expectations of this wedding, with the couple, venue and with it being my hometown, but I have to say it completely exceeded them! Bev & Mark were so happy the whole day, and their friends and family sure know how to party. I was made to feel so welcome the whole day and I absolutely loved being part of it. Thank you Bev & Mark for inviting me to your Kettering Park Hotel wedding, it was an amazing day and I wish you all the congratulations in the world 🙂
