Sophie & Paul – St Johns House wedding photography

What a glorious day it was for Sophie & Paul’s St Johns House wedding photography – the sun shone the whole day and reflected the sunny mood that everyone was in too! The wedding day began with Sophie and her bridal party, getting ready with stunning hair and make up, and beautiful flowers supplied by a family friend. It was a busy morning with two gorgeous flower girls and a page boy to be dressed (and, more importantly, fed!) before the celebrations began. I love the photos of the two flower girls when they’ve just put their dresses on and jumping on the bed – just a flurry of white dresses and hair there was so much excitement. Sophie’s dress was absolutely stunning and her father’s face when he saw her in it for the first time was full of emotion. Travelling in style to the fantastic venue St Johns House, by the time the bridal party arrived all the guests were seated and Paul was all suited and booted waiting at the top of the aisle ready for his first glimpse of Sophie.

The page boy and the flower girls looked so cute walking down the aisle, and it was so lovely that Sophie & Paul’s daughter was standing with her daddy as her mummy came down the aisle looking absolutely beautiful. St Johns House is such an intimate venue it makes for a very special ceremony and Sophie & Paul looked so much in love throughout the vows and ring exchange – just lovely! With the weather as stunning as it was, St Johns House came into its own after Sophie & Paul were announced as Mr & Mrs Reddish – the guests were able to spill out through the bi-fold doors onto the lawn and enjoy the sunshine and the tasty canapes provided by the St Johns House wedding team. This gave me the opportunity to capture some pictures of the newlyweds in the sun, with brick walls, barn doors and lots of greenery to use as backgrounds – I really do love St Johns House wedding photography!

It was then time for food and speeches, lots of laughter, anecdotes and love included in equal measure! The common thread throughout was Sophie, Paul and their daughter becoming an official little family which was really special and emotional. With the weather still so beautiful the atmosphere after the wedding breakfast was relaxed and informal as the evening guests began to arrive and the outside space was still warm enough to be used until the first dance and the party starting!

Sophie & Paul it was an honour to capture your St Johns House wedding photography and witnessing the love that you two have for each other and your daughter was beautiful to see. I wish you many many happy years together and thank you again for asking me to be part of your amazing wedding day. Congratulations!
